Buying The Cheapest?

Most managers are struggling with budgets therefore when buying lighting will make a quick google search to find the lowest price light, the cheapest LED high bay light is just £19.99 plus VAT!

Focusing solely on price overlooks long-term costs.  While a £19.99 LED high bay is cheap, its lower lumen output and shorter lifespan (relative to labour costs and potential replacements) may prove more expensive than higher-quality alternatives.

Consider total cost of ownership and LEDlights4you's expertise to optimize lighting and energy savings.

Lets take a closer look at the offer:

·100Watt,

·110 Lumen per Watt

·90-degree angle

·25,000 hour build life

·2-year warranty

Let’s explain what each of these specifications mean.

If you already have incandescent High Bay lights, they are likely to be Metal Halide lamps which.

As a light source they can give up to 30,000 lumens at a 90 degree angle when new. Lamps can be easily changed if you have the appropriate access equipment.

Let’s compare this with the LED offer, could you manage with 60% less light?

The build life refers to the engineering standard of the electronics. It’s a guide to the the life expectation; this is around 3 years. The warranty of 2 years indicates that you may need to replace these in 3 years

If you consider the Labour for fitting including access equipment is likely to be two to three times the purchase that per fitting, does this make sense?

When LEDlights4you survey a warehouse, we would look to reduce the number of fittings by 30 – 50% because our fitting that has a wide beam and high lumen.

This way there is a reduction in the capital cost of light installations and more importantly a better energy saving especially if microwave sensors are used.

LEDlights4you have many customers with high bay lights in operation for over 10 years!
