Terms & Conditions 

1.1 Distance selling. If you buy on line or over the telephone we offer a 7 day money back guarantee from the day of delivery. If you are not satisfied with the product we will refund the full value including postage on the return of the goods in good condition. The customer is responsible for the return postage. If you decide to return the goods within the 7 day period you must telephone us (0870 383 1689 national rate) with your intention and return the goods with a copy of the purchase invoice and a covering note requesting a refund. Failure to follow this procedure you will not be entitled to a refund.

Safety

1.2 Coemi Uk Ltd nor any of its affiliates, directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of products supplied by us. Ceomi Uk Ltd does not limit its liability for death or personal injury to the extent only that it arises as a result of the negligence of Ceomi Uk Ltd, its affiliates, directors, employees or other representatives. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third party.

Warranty

All LED products have a 24 month manufacturers warrantee against any defects operated by Coemi Uk Ltd - parts only warranty - from the date delivered. 

Labour costs and Carriage/courier costs for items being returned to Coemi Uk Ltd are the responsibility of the customer. No liability will be taken by Coemi for returned goods damaged in transit. Only if the goods are deemed faulty or miss described on delivery will any carriage costs be refunded.

Return carriage to customer addresses will be covered by Coemi Uk Ltd only if defects covered by the warranty are found. We will at our option either repair or replace free of charge for the original purchaser any part of any new Coemi Uk Ltd product that is found by the company to be defective, with exception to the items listed below under item parts not covered by warranty.

  1. Damage caused by unreasonable use, including failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.
  2. Defects caused by alterations or modifications, accidents or failure to follow the instructions in the instruction manual.
  3. Normal wearing parts such as cables, clutches, brake parts, steering joints, drive couplings, light fittings and switches, which are subject to replacement dependent on normal wear and tear or require replacement in connection with normal maintenance.
  4. Overheating damage caused by lack of ventilation 
  5. Damage caused by weather or any other acts of God are not part of the warranty and should be covered by your normal household or commercial insurance.

Specific product conditions

  • GU10 LED bulbs
  • Coemi LED bulbs are very robust however when fitting do not use excessive force turning the bulb in the fitting this can cause the unit to break the internal screw mountings and come apart. Breakage of this nature is not covered by warranty.
  • MR16 LED bulbs
  • Coemi MR16 LEDs require a specialised LED driver. We supply a range of drivers specifically designed to operate with these bulbs. The voltage range must be 12v + or – 1v. 
  • Standard halogen transformers are not recommended as they can cause long term damage or failure of the bulb. 

All Coemi LED products are EC and RoHS approved and comply to UK and EEC electrical standards
