Savings Start with Smarter Lighting

In most Business’s the Lighting is using 40 – 50% of the energy.

Even a heavy engineering plant such as a steel tower manufacturer shown below, it can be clearly seen that the biggest load is the lighting. With quality LED warehouse lighting, overall savings on your business could well be up to 40%.

By using the most efficient LED Lighting Units some Business and Institutions have made almost an 80% Energy Saving. Often repositioning of lights can effectively reduce the overall number of units. With the additional use of occupancy microwave sensors, automatically switching lights off in unoccupied areas can have a dramatic effect on energy reduction with little additional cost.

For example the small parts store at Newcross Depot run by Bombardier we installed 35 panels below the Mezzanine and with just two microwave occupancy sensors through a relay we were able to switch them all off when the stores were not occupied. In most Commercial lighting applications there are areas which are unoccupied much of the time such as toilets, stores, restrooms, corridors etc.
