Microwave v PIRs

Time and time again customers report that their lights either stay on or do not switch on when required. This is because they have PIR sensors. PIR sensors work in narrow beams, which means they don’t always pick up a movement straight away, they also have restricted timers often staying on for hours before switching off.

Microwaves have a 360-degree sensor so they will pick up movement as far away as 10 meters. They can also be timed to switch off immediately after the area is vacated. For the additional cost, the payback is easily recovered in less than 1 year making them the best choice to use with Commercial LED Lighting and minimizing your Carbon Footprint.
